What does the Electricity Advisor do?

The Electricity Advisor is an In-home Display attached to your Smart meter's optical interface. 

It detects and records your Smart meter's Impulse light and interprets the intermittent flashing as "data". The Electricity Advisor then synchronises with your Mobile device when opened and uploads your data, using the information you have input (Peak and Off-peak charges, Daily Supply charge etc) to then present your data in an easy-to-understand format

The Electricity Advisor plays a pivotal role in assisting you to stay in control of your electricity usage and reduce your household energy bills.
The Electricity Advisor will notify you when you are using high amounts of energy relative to what you use on average, highlighting time-of-use rates, ultimately leading to a more energy-efficient and energy-conscious home.
