The Electricity Advisor has a Bluetooth range of 20 metres (indoors). You can ensure your Electricity Advisor has the best possible connection by installing the Transmitter (white part) on the exterior of your Smart meter housing.
If you are having trouble with your Electricity Advisor disconnecting, please try the following steps:
- Please ensure you are in the Electricity Advisor device's Bluetooth range, so it has live data access.
- If you are in range and Electricity Advisor keeps disconnecting, please turn the device off and power it back on.
- Press the power button (back of the device) and hold for 1-2 seconds; the light on the front of the device (logo) will flash: One flash indicates the device is Deactivated.
- Next, turn the device back on again by pressing the power button and holding it for 1-2 seconds. The light on the front of the device will flash three times to confirm power ON.
