If your Electricity Advisor device is unresponsive and fails to connect when accessing the display page, it may indicate a low or depleted battery. You may also notice that the device has not transmitted data to your Emerald Home App for a prolonged period of time. Follow the steps below to attempt to restart your device:
1. Press the power button located at the back of the device and hold it for 1-2 seconds. The light on the front (logo) will flash once, indicating that the device is Deactivated.
2. Turn the device back on by pressing the power button again and holding it for 1-2 seconds. The light on the front of the device will flash three times, confirming that the device is now powered ON.
Note: Even when the Electricity Advisor is turned on, the front light will be off when the power button is not pressed.
